I have done some study to gather the very common symptoms that will show if your liver is suffering. I spoke to few doctors in person in my local area (Seattle, WA) to get the exact symptoms that your body will show/feel if you have liver disease.

Here's the list, I am not an expert in medicine at all, take this information as a beginning point of your research.

First of all, what does this body part of ours do? Here's a laymen explanation:

Everything you eat, drink, breathe and absorb through your skin eventually reaches your liver. Then it controls a process called metabolism, in which it breaks down nutrients into usable byproducts. These byproducts are delivered to the rest of your body by your bloodstream. Your liver also breaks down toxins into byproducts that can be safely eliminated.

Unfortunately, Yes, it is the main culprit. Too much alcohol can make a normal liver swell with fat, causing a condition called fatty liver. If the fat becomes inflamed, it can lead to either alcoholic hepatitis, a liver problem that causes serious but often reversible liver damage.

How to protect your liver?

- Drink alcohol in moderation

- Don't mix Other drugs with alcohol.

- Get vaccinated

- Watch what gets on your skin

- Don't eat too many fatty foods.

- Watch your weight
